Charity Events
Students show our STAGS Values of Generosity and Support through their extensive work for a variety of charities across the year.
As a school community we aim to raise £25,000 per year for local, national and international causes. Each of the eight Houses has a charity that they work with from October each school year. The Sixth Form House Captains make use of their assemblies to promote the work of their charity as well as to encourage the members of their House to support the charity through running various fundraising stalls and events such as our hugely successful Winter Fair which is run in association with STAGS PTA.

When the new House Captains are selected in October 2024, they will decide on the charities that each House will raise funds for during academic year 2024-2025.
Working alongside the Year 12 House Captains, Charity Captains run the whole school fundraising events with the support of the school student leaders in years 7-11.
Below is the 2024-2025 charity calendar, although students are encouraged to suggest and plan additional fundraising events if they arise throughout the year. Many year groups decide on a charity they would like to take part in a fundraising activity for and coordinate the event themselves with the guidance of their director of learning.
The STAGS community are also encouraged to plan fundraising events in response to natural disasters or other humanitarian crises as they occur as well as when celebrating festivals such as Hanukkah, Eid and Lunar New Year.
