Some of our amazing staff have shared why they think STAGS is such a special place to work below:

I’m Hannah, Curriculum Leader for Art, Design, and Technology at STAGS, where I oversee a vibrant department offering subjects like Art, Photography, Textiles, Resistant Materials, Food Preparation & Nutrition, and Child Development. Having been at STAGS since 2008, I love its friendly, professional atmosphere and strong community ethos. Each day includes morning briefings, form time, teaching, and planning, with time to connect with colleagues in the staff room. STAGS provides excellent CPD opportunities, and I recently completed a coaching course, allowing me to support fellow staff. It’s a fast-paced, inspiring school, and I’m proud to be part of it.

Miss H Bowman

I’m Vinaya, a Science teacher at STAGS since 2021 and a Director of Learning, which means I have the joy of celebrating my year group’s achievements with the whole school community on a regular basis. STAGS is the most inclusive, welcoming place I have ever known - there is a genuine warmth here, with students and staff sharing a wonderful rapport built on mutual respect and encouragement. Everyone is driven to thrive and succeed, creating an uplifting and inspiring atmosphere. I feel truly privileged to be part of such a supportive and positive school, where every day is a chance to grow, celebrate, and make a difference.

MISS V HARIA

I’m Ben, an IT Technician at STAGS, where I assist staff with daily IT issues and system maintenance. I started as an IT Apprentice in 2020 and have since taken on projects like PC and monitor upgrades. My day begins at 7:30, checking the helpdesk and emails for any urgent IT needs, such as setting up equipment for assemblies. I enjoy the problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork involved in my role, as well as the supportive and friendly atmosphere at STAGS. My background in customer service has strengthened my ability to provide efficient IT support and manage equipment stock.
